Our History

Trinity Baptist Church was founded on July 2, 1972. The church began with two people; only eight attended the very first service. In 1987, a new church building and school facility were constructed and the church moved from Route 2A in Williston, to its current location off of Mountain View Road. Since that time, many years of labor, sacrificial giving, planning, prayer, and preaching have been invested in TBC. We have been blessed to have had five senior pastors serve at Trinity over the years. God's faithful provision and continued blessing is evident and we gratefully seek to stand for the Truth and "Make Servants for the Savior" for generations to come.

Here is a commemorative hymn of dedication which beautifully expresses what God has done here at Trinity:

Servant’s Hymn

ALUMNI

Beneath Vermont’s green mountains

and snow-capped peaks is found

A standard for our Savior,

A servant’s training ground.

We pray that Thou wouldst find, Lord,

Devoted servants here

Who now and in the future

Would hold Thy service dear.

Through changing leaves of autumn

Our hearts would faithful be,

And through the chill of winter

Would flame with love for Thee.

As springtime’s golden flowers

On hill and field abound,

So gild our hearts with gladness

To praise with joyful sound.

O Triune God, our Master,

Thy name we gladly bear.

For Thou in love has saved us,

Eternal joys to share.

We offer Thee our talents

For from Thy hand they came,

Use minds and hands and voices

To glorify Thy name.
